Veronika Chernyavska

Veronika Chernyavska is a highly respected, nationally known expert, competitor, teacher, and performer in the field of ballroom dancing. With over twenty-five years of experience, Veronika’s unique, straight to the point, and practical approach to dance has been an inspiration for many dancers. Chernyavska has had the amazing opportunity to dance on some of the world most renowned stages including the Royal Albert Hall in London, The Nippon Budokan Arena in Tokyo, Kremlin Palace in Moscow, Roosevelt Hotel in New York, Fred Astaire’s World Championship in Paris, and Asian Tour in Shanghai, Seoul and Hong Kong performing in over 300 dance competitions in over 40 different countries. Together with her dance partner Rangel Spirov, she has become 5 times undefeated Professional Latin Champion of Bulgaria.​
At age 11, when her family immigrated to the USA, Chernyavska was immediately drawn to ballroom dancing. Veronika was lucky because, in her hometown of Columbus OH, a famous professional dance couple from Russia owned a ballroom dance school. These world-class dancers took her under their wing, mentored her, and sparked the passion for dance that she has today. Veronika currently resides in the Dallas Ft. Worth area and as of 2017, and she is proud to represent the USA at worldwide competitions. Together with her dance partner Rangel they have been fortunate enough to train with many of the top dance teachers in Europe and North America. The knowledge that they have received has opened many doors and they feel grateful to make a living with their passion and to travel the world.
Veronika’s students range from busy homemakers who dance for fun to hight level competitors. Participants in her classes and lectures delight her strict, experienced, and entertaining teaching style and benefit from her many years of first-hand competitive experience in the fields of ballroom dancing and theater arts.

Chernyavska is a five times professional national latin champion of Bulgaria and a World class competitor. She has an extensive competitive and social dance training and has performed in over 40 different countries around the world like Japan, England, France, Italy, China, Russia and many more.
